In this workshop we will learn about how to deal with critical incidents during youth exchange programs. What if a participant gets hurt? What to do in case of personal crises? How can we better prepare for such incidents and what are prevention measurements to ensure a safe environment for both the facilitators and participants? During the workshop you will learn more about prevention concepts, facilitation techniques to ensure the participants’ wellbeing, legal aspects and you will have the chance to reflect on difficult situations you might have already experienced yourself in your work as a volunteer and facilitator.
