Cengiz Jiménez Laux
1st Chair Youth Ambassador since 2015 cengiz@jugendbotschafter.com
“German and Turkish culture and their intertwined relationship have been an integral part of my life since I can remember. In 2015 during my European Voluntary Service in Istanbul I took part in the first ever Youth Ambassadors Training. After that formative experience I wanted to improve German-Turkish relations through youth participation.”

“In times when peaceful and sustainable change is needed more than ever, JuBo gives me the opportunity to create my own projects and help shape the future I want to live in, to make the world a better place for future generations. No one can do that better than the young people of today. This association has so much potential and I am motivated to work with an amazing team. I want to create opportunities for German and Turkish youth to meet and empower each other to become active in their local and global community.”

“Bringing youth together is the best possible way to fight against xenophobia and build more peaceful societies. I love that we work together from all over the world with shared values and goals. Youth exchange was a crucial experience and made me the person I am now. Sharing my experiences and using my skills to give this opportunity to more people is my passion.”

“Beybin Elvin is currently living in Brussels, residing in Germany and a citizen of Turkey. She is a young professional with experience in education, migration, and youth work. She has a degree in sociology and a master’s degree in migration and intercultural relations. In different non-governmental organizations and UN agencies, she has worked in child protection, psycho-social support, and social cohesion fields with refugees and migrants. Currently, she is working as an independent facilitator, and learning experience designer mainly focusing on the topics around diversity, inclusion, and equity. She joined the Youth Ambassadors in 2018. In her role as project manager, she is supporting our organization in the project development phases and coordinating ongoing projects.
Besides all those professional words, Beybin is watching movies until she starves, systematically manipulating her friends to play the longest board games, getting totally wasted in music festivals, and mostly sleeping in French classes.”

Yigit Ulukent
Local Chapter Leader Ankara Youth Ambassador since 2021
yigit@jugendbotschafter.com
“When I attended YASP 2021, I saw that organizations like Jugenbotschafter e.V. are standing on a very important point in social impact issues. Young people of different cultures and nationalities have a lot to share with each other. Providing a common sharing environment to young people is perhaps the only obstacle in front of us who are also the members/representatives of a generation that is open to change, differences, and innovation in every aspect. I continue my work within Jugenbotschafter as a local chapter leader, and in this process, I want to reach people in Ankara, especially those who cannot reach, or who have difficulties in reaching us and similar international youth organizations. I want to develop a local-international network among the young people of Ankara.”

Ahsan Qamer Sheikh
Regional Chapter Leader Baden-Württemberg Youth Ambassador since 2021
ahsan@jugendbotschafter.com
“It gives me immense pleasure to be part of association that works for the betterment of youth and the challenges they face. The new era brings modiefied challenges and it is important to work together for them. Therefore, I believe, JuBo is a right platform for the youth to come together. So I am glad to take on the leadership role and looking forward to play my part to solve the youth challenges.”

Sena Saltan
Local Chapter Leader Istanbul Youth Ambassador since 2019
senasaltan@jugendbotschafter.com
“I am a part of JuBo because I believe that young people’s willpower to change the world is the key to making a real impact. Also, I enjoy being part of something meaningful and bigger than myself. Learning from my peers is the most effective learning method because it develops a spirit of collaboration inside me and gives me a sense of belonging.”
