You want to make an impact, but where do you start? The Youth Ambassadors Starters Program (YASP) gives you the tools to turn your ideas for Youth Work into action. Each year, YASP takes place in either Germany or Türkiye, bringing together young changemakers like you to learn, create, and lead in a safe environment.
If you’re ready to step up, take action, and be part of something bigger, YASP is for you.
LEARN.
You can learn how to manage projects, develop leadership skills, and tackle real challenges in German-Turkish relations.
CONNECT.
You have the chance to connect with fellow young people in order to make the world a better place. Together you can bring your Youth Work ideas to life!
AFFECT.
You get hands-on experience by designing and launching your own Youth Work projects, with support from experts and peers.
Want to Lead Change? YASP Has Your Back!
As a Youth Ambassador, you will team up with your peers to learn about Project Management in Youth Work. Together, you will develop your project ideas with peers and then learn how to implement it. Our mentors will help you even after the YASP. Join us to gain hands-on experience, strengthen your skills, and be part of a young movement that makes a difference.
We welcome applications from all backgrounds — regardless of nationality, sex or gender. The only requirement is that you are a young person living in Türkiye and/or Germany. We look forward to your application!

YASP 2025 - Welcome to Freiburg!
Each year, Jugendbotschafter hosts the Youth Ambassadors Starters Program (YASP), alternating between Germany and Türkiye. In 2025, the program will take place in Freiburg, Germany. It brings together a roughly 50/50 mix of youth from Germany and Türkiye, representing all genders and united by a shared passion for making a difference in their communities while learning from each other’s cultures. Local and national organizations will support the program, providing a unique opportunity for participants to grow and lead change.

Our Partners
This Erasmus+ project is a collaboration between Jugendbotschafter e.V., YFU Türkiye –
Anlayis Icin Genclik Dernegi, and PASCH Alumni Türkiye. It brings together participants aged 18-30 from Turkey and Germany who are passionate
about addressing societal issues. They embrace intercultural exchange and believe in
the power of cooperation to create positive change.
